In a poignant tale of human connection and unexpected empathy, a woman working as a prostitute receives a call from a customer, asking her to visit his house before midnight. She arrives with uncertainty, only to find herself part of an unusual request. The customer reveals that he has a blind daughter whose mother passed away years ago, and this night marks the child's birthday. He wishes for someone to take on the role of the child's mother, even if just for a few hours.
Handing over a saree that once belonged to his late wife, he asks the woman to wear it but insists that she not use any perfume, fearing the lingering scent of his wife will be lost forever. She agrees, and they head to the rooftop where the father-daughter duo celebrates the birthday with simplicity and warmth. Throughout the night, the woman finds herself sharing heartfelt conversations with the man, discussing their lives, struggles, and the unspoken weight of their choices.
As dawn approaches, the celebration comes to an end. The man drops her off at her doorstep, and both return to their separate worlds, carrying a piece of each other's stories. In a fleeting yet profound encounter, two strangers find solace in their shared loneliness, leaving a lasting impression on each other.
